Taiwan's top 25 brand names for 2021 were announced today by the global branding consultancy Interbrand. For the 15th consecutive year, Transcend Information is being featured as one of Taiwan's top brands. The recognition proves Transcend’s resiliency and value in a highly competitive global market amid the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Founded in 1988, Transcend has grown within a fast-changing industry to become a trusted memory product provider for over three decades. COVID-19 has proven a major challenge for Taiwan and the world. Yet Transcend has overcome it thanks to its strong R&D and manufacturing team in Taiwan, as well as its matured sales and technical support departments in local regions. Strong partnerships with leading suppliers allow Transcend to supply stable product lines to customers despite the severe chip shortage in the market. With the Metaverse in full effect, Transcend remains innovative within this virtual reality by utilizing digital marketing approaches and diverse brand marketing strategies. Digital advertisements have been placed for Transcend’s embedded solutions, while e-commerce platforms, virtual trade shows, social media platforms, and KOL marketing have become the channels that Transcend pays high attention to, in order to create omnichannel retail marketing.
In the post-pandemic era, Metaverse, 5G, AIoT, and virtual economies have brought surging demand for memory products. In response to the trends, Transcend launched the new-gen 112-layer 3D NAND SSD solutions and its latest DDR5 DRAM modules to meet the high standards in industrial applications. For consumer product lines, Transcend released the PCIe M.2 SSD 240S for gamers and content creators, the high-speed USB flash drive JetFlash 930C which supports game consoles, a dual-camera dashcam DrivePro 620, and the motorcycle dashcam DrivePro 20. Other than business operations, Transcend has also contributed and supported youth sporting events in Taiwan. This has demonstrated Transcend’s commitment to its corporate social responsibility and sustainable operations.
